Well, it's a different monday. I'm off today! After working for the last 14 days straight.. and survived two calls last week, i finally have my well deserved break! :)
Woke up at 8 plus, no longer 5 plus where u see stars and no sun; woke up to my mummy after having not seen her for 6 days! Woke up with no alarm. Settled some banking issues,showered, dressed up and went for brunch with DA mum and dad :) happiness:: After which me and mummy went to town for shopping. It's a self pamper day, to settle all personal grooming before CNY! SO we walked everywhere, shopped and bought a dress :) then went to fareast, ate fried mars bars, sinful and happy :) and i went for pedicure. Mum contd to shop then met da go and xander for hight tea. Then we went for facial. Although i'm like super red and ugly now, i feel damn clean like all the pimples have been squeezed out! Smooth.
Then daddy came to fetch us, went to buy some stuffs and then to toa payoh to visit my darling lovely grams. Ate abit of dinner and came home. Here i am, happy and satisfied. :P Waiting for my dearest boyfriend to come.
Life's been super busy. Everyday is jus packed from 5am in the morning to 10pm at night, every hour is filled with things to do. Rounding, seeing patients, scribing, eating drinking and talking. then calling, writing, typing, drawing blood, ordering stuffs on the computer. Packed. With each and every experience, i definitely feel more confident and naturally less scared as a doctor. Looking back at my first posting, where i get scared by everythng, chestpain, SOB, ECG changes, fever etc. i must say and i hope i'm right about being a more confident doctor. I hope that i will continue to learn new things everyday and when i look back a year from now, i can continue to say the same. :)
Despite the small hiccups and unhappiness at work at times, i still feel thankful about my workplace and privilage of being a dr.
Anyways i'm really looking forward to CNY! to see ALL my family and chit chat like we do all the time when we meet. Meanwhile time to work hard. hahaha..
