hi everyone!!!
It's been a long time coming, and i'm finally back on blogger.
5 weeks in the very rural african continent have been me grown a little more compassionate, a little wiser in terms of L I F E, a little more appreciative of the environment i live in and all around me, and ALOT blacker (sunshine every day!)!
It is hard to tell all that happened in Tanzania, mostly good incidences, tho i would really like to share my experience and my inner thoughts. So i shall just summarise then into three points:
.
1) Tho Africa is everyone's gold standard eg. of a third world country- mention in geography, literature or even medical textbooks-i figured out that Africa is actually a very rich country. Rich in it's culture and natural resources. All the rural people may be poor in the material sense, but they are rich in emotions- ever so happy and smiley and friendly and they are such simple folks, so simple so genuine it was very comfortable living in their community.
.
2) I love SIMBAs. The safari is so awsome - sky is bigger and broader, more blueness and clearer! Mountain Kilimanjaro is way too beautiful! Pictures speak a thousand words, so i'll upload some of the over 3000 photos we took in Africa when i get hold of it from han.
.
3) The experiences there, mainly the 6 days climb up Africa's highest mountain- made me learn n realise alot of things about myself and working dynamics btw people- about giving and taking and loving one another. THe team of 14 headed of bob bob was amazing- i hope nings group will have a helll of a time like we did!!!
Ok, going back to the wards now- and i really hope Koh will call us into OT soon. looong loong day ahead.....
take care.
