Fang says:
If u together with sad ppl
surrounded by sad ppl
u wiloso become sad
happy pple will happy
Is it really true? wad if the happy person isn;t relaly happy but trying to be happy becuase he believes in this principle, so as to try and make ppl aorund him happy. Will the ppl around get influienced and feel happy..is the air of happiness really a real one?
Wanted is a good show, i personally enjoyed it very much. :)
They say women from Venus and men from Mars- i think it's true PLUS men are so stupid ,they will never understand the difference and why the difference.

Hmmm, some things are heartfelt and hard to express in words to achieve the meaning in totality. Be it a negative feeling or a postive thought, i still think it's better to keep it in.
Everyone is special! :)
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you, but first let me do this. He proceeded to crumple the $20 dollar bill up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air."Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still Wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends, we have all learned! a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE.
Count your blessings, not your problems. Never be afraid to try something new.
If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it. God will either lighten your load or He will strengthen Your back.
How nice, i like how this short story just summed up my feelings for the past week.
And i thank god for all the people around me who loves me and whom i love. I thank god for the things that happen to me or are going to happen. :)

My piano is old, some keys have pads too thinned out. sighs..time for a new piano..which means daddy is going to spend on me again. :( sorrie...
This Korean Hyundai i;ve owned for the last 6 years...wasn't too bad, jus overused...abused- not by us of coz. :P
After lesson today, went with Jo (my teacher) to try out pianos. She feels that i deserve a new piano coz i'm a good student!! ahhaha, tho i beg to differ coz i dun really practice alot and i dun think i play super well. She says for grade 8 and later diploma, i need at least a baby grand. IS that right...huh. Well, if u dunno- which i din until last week, difference between an upright piano and a grand is the way the hammer hits the keys, the hammer hits from bottom up in a grand while hammer hits up down for the upright. There really is a difference in sound quality and texture of the keys between the two, even if it was the most high end upright piano. The sound of a grand piano is usually better than its vertical partner due to it's longer strings and larger soundboard. The bass in particular produces a full, resonant sustaining sound.
So we went to try out a few brands. Gosh, Bohemia was awesome. The sound, the touch and the feel was excellent. The key touch is neither too light or too heavy. I tried the Bohemia Janacek and it costs a heavenly sum of $37,000.
I mean, like my mummy always say yi fen qian yi fen huo- i agree. I asked myself, do i really need sucha nice piano, i know it;s a good investment and if well maintained, a good piano will only get better and sound nicer in the long run- but do i really need a Porsche if merz is good enough for me. $37,000 isn't a huge amount of money, but neither is it a small sum.
Bohemia is from Europe and all the parts are handmade, and the brand is very established, since 1871 and all music exam boards use this brand now, so it's trustable. Jo said she encourage me to go for this brand, particularly Janacek.
My second choice is Wilhelm Tell- piano of Switzerland since 1872. All the piano parts are from switz but piano is assembled in China. True enough, the sound wasn't as good, espcially the lower octaves, sounded more coarse, somehow the difference was huge after i laid hands on Bohemia. The keys weren;t as light and more sticky. I know that Wilhelm pales in comparision relative to Bohemia, but if i only had Wilhelm to choose from, it would have been an awesome piano. I am looking at Wilhelm 190 Empire black. It looks pretty and the book stand is cute too!
The sound is as good as it can get for such a good price, actually better. But i dunnoe it's 10-years prformance coz the new change in - piano being made in China, is a recent move, so i dunno how it's long term performance will be.
I'm still contemplating. I really can;t make up my mind, my heart desires something, but my brain tells me otherwise. I know it's already an integral part of my everyday life, a sort of relaxation sometimes (when i'm not doing my exam pieces, hahha), it's something i do when i'm sad, happy, angry, bored. But....i cannot be sure, I don' t know if i will keep on playing, i dun wanna get suchan expensive piano and leave it alone after i finish grade 8 next year. What if i become too busy with work and family next time? What if i just lose interest one day and stop playing altogether? What if..so many what ifs.
My daddy was jokingly saying i can always bring it to my new home after i get married and play and let my children use! hahaha. OR leave it at niang jia and come back to play whenever i like. hahahaha. I love my dad and i know he will spend the money on me if i say i want it, knowing i'd have thought it through seriously and made the best decision for myself. Hence, i dun dare say what i want yet, coz i really am not sure. I dun even know if what i just typed in the earlier paragraphs make sense...
all in all, i'm in a dilemma. help.
Piano shopping the next few days. Man, Every piano is so different, even if it's the same brand same model feels and sound different. No wonder people say a piano is as individual as a child. :)
