breathe in experience...

you have been my friend, that in itself is a tremendous thing.

The greatness of a dream is in how many other dream it holds.

Every footstep in life trembles with possibilities, every mile is big with destiny.

Timing is the essential ingredient in success... right man, right time, right place... The right sequence is vital.

love the moment...
the energy of that moment will spread beyond all boundaries.

There are three things that will endure--faith, hope and love--and the greatest of these is love.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams...
live the life you have imagined.

Why are we embarrassed by silence?
What comfort do we find in all the noise?

The greatest enemy to tomorrow's success is sometimes today's achievements.

Think of all the still left around you and be happy.

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

Happiness is a way of travel...not a destination.

The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.

Somewhere between the *procrastination* and the homework..
and the incessant forwards
and the friendships and the calls
to each other complaining about CrUsHeS and
BF/GF!! Somewhere between the phone calls to old
friends and the "I miss you's", the "I love you's" and
the "What are we doing tonight's?" And somewhere
between all of the changing and growing...
somewhere between the classes and the skipping
classes...and the StUdYiNg for teStS...And the
PRETENDING to "StUdY" for TeStS...
And the downright NOT StUdYiNg for TeStS...
I forgot--I forgot what ScHooL was all about.
Somewhere between all the appointments, starbuck coffee,
and Mc Donald's... paying bills and then not paying bills...
Making plans then breaking plans... Appearing, Disappearing,
then reappearing... I forgot--I forgot what it was like to cry.
I forgot that pretending to be happy doesn't make you
happy... And that pretending to
be SmArT doesn't make you smart .. I forgot
that you can't just forget the past in
fear of the FUTURE... I forgot that you
can't control falling in LoVe..
And that you can't make yourself fall in *LoVe*
.... I learned that I can LOVE... I
learned that it's okay to MEsS UP....
And it's okay to ask for HELP!!!.. And it's
okay to feel like crap... I learned it's okay to cOmPLaiN
and wHINe to all your friends for a whole day........
I learned that sometimes the things you want
most you just can't have and the things that
you look for are right in front of you.
I learned that the greatest thing about
HiGh ScHOoL and CoLLeGe and the working world
it isn't about the parties or the
DRiNKiNG or the Hookups ...
It's the *FrIeNdShIpS*, which means taking chances.
I learned that sometimes the things we want to forget
are the things which we most need to talk about...
I learned that TIME and LOVE can heal all things...
I learned that just when you think it can't get worse - it does! ...
but with the love and support of friends - you survive...
I've learned that when you start feeling BaD
about L O S I N G touch and about those that you've lost!
They too, are feeling the same way....
I learned that letters from friends are the
most important things. And that sending cards to your
friends makes you feel better! But, basically, I just learned
that my friends........ Both old and new..... are the most important
people to me in the world AND.......without them, I wouldn't be who
I am today.....
So this is a THANK YOU to all of my friends...
For always being there. And even if we're not on good terms
or we have lost touch... I will always have an unconditional
love for you.. ~Always and forever ~

Though very very few friends are reading this....i juz wanna post here to show my gratitude for all my friends...luv ya loadZ
Sagittarius in Love
November 22-December (nette's)

Sagittarius treats love like any other adventure in their lives and embraces the opportunities to discover new plateaus in the experience of love, lust and passion. They are funny, charming, gregarious and usually highly intelligent begins who make genuinely enjoyable company and are captivating in their sparkling personalities.
They have big dreams and far reaching goals and they easily share what their minds are experiencing often forgetting that for some words are meant to become reality.

Sagittarius is not always capable of bringing reality to their words and such is the way it is meant to be. They infuse us with inspiration and allow us to see all the possibilities in the world around us.

In close personal relationships that can often cause troubles as they promise more than they can deliver....or....have changes of emotions that put them into completely different mind sets from one day to another.

They are active and vibrant and expect their loved ones to enjoy the same kind of physical adventures. They are appearance conscious and their wit is one of their greatest assets and they enjoy the attention of others. This makes them the natural flirts of the zodiac and most of it isharmless and meaningless.

Sagittarius Sexuality
Like the other fire signs Sagittarius has a definite sense of passion and a love of physical connections but for them it becomes almost a spiritual experience...or another occasion to have 'fun'.

The more exotic the local or the setting the more inspired a Sagittarian is and an inspired Sagittarian is the consummate lover. There's the sense of a dare devil in them and they love walking on the risqué side...playing with rules and regulations usually just nudging the line rather than crossing it.

They are attracted to far away places and intriguing sexual imagery and fantasy is an important component as Sagittarius needs to be inspired to inspire.

The Long Term Story
Feeling trusted and free to pursue their adventures is a pre-requisite to a long term encounter with a Sagittarian. They use words as both weapons and tools and can be either supportive and uplifting or remarkably sarcastic and cutting and sometimes both in the same breath.

They are naturally flirtatious but usually bottom line loyal and the more they feel 'understood' the more they focus on the benefits of the relationship.

Even a stay at home Sagittarius will enjoy adventures through the mind and if they are not physically taking on life challenges for adrenalin rushes they are arm chair quarterbacks or avid game players.

Their sense of competition is acute and it is also one of the things that keeps them moving forward in life

Positive Traits in Love
Joyful, playful, spontaneous, generous, captivating, enchanting, supportive, good-natured.

Negative Traits
Unreliable, fickle, sarcastic, temperamental, unable to commit, freedom loving to the extreme, self centered, vain.

What a Sagittarius Likes
A sense of adventure, Honesty, Freedom, Intellectual compatibility, Taking risks, Flirting, Socializing, Feeling trusted, Active partner, Daydreaming

What a Sagittarius Dislikes
Jealousy, Possessiveness, Routine, Being doubted, Having to explain self, Control, Being forced to make promises. Apathy/laziness

Sagittarius Love Keywords
Exuberant, charming, funny, far sighted, adventuress, adoring, non-possessive, flighty, sarcastic, unreliable, self centered, dogmatic, judgmental.

Words can Heal and Words can Harm

Words are very important. Words can heal and words can harm. Words can hurt grievously and for a long time. The tongue can bless and the tongue can curse. It is very important for us to control our words and tame our tongue when we are angry. Many times, when we are angry we say the most atrocious things. We forget ourselves and become indifferent to what we say. We blast the other person without mercy, although we may not mean those words. But words once spoken cannot be taken back and it takes a long time to forgive and forget. We have to exercise self-control
. Many couples are particularly prone to such outbursts when they get mad. But it is not an easy thing to control our tongue when we are provoked, boiled over with anger or have outburst of wrath. It is at such time that we have to learn to hold our tongue and to remain silent. If we can't tame our tongue, we have to take a break or go for a walk to cool off. It is much easier to control the words before the blow-up than during the explosion.
Uncontrollable words spoken in anger can have devastating effect. Angry words, that are used unthinkingly, such as "I don't care," "I can't be bothered," "I don't need you," or "you can go to hell" cause pain and feelings of rejection. They give rise to insecurity. The unmeant and foolish words contain full of deadly poison and can play havoc in the mind. The unruly words get churned over for hours on end and create their worst mischief in a difficult relationship. It can take a very long time to forgive what was said. Let us learn to turn away from angry words before they leave our mouth and try to say healing words instead. Father Henri Nouwen said, "It is so important to choose our words wisely. When we are boiling with anger and eager to throw bitter words at our opponents, it is better to remain silent. Words spoken in rage will make reconciliation very hard. Choosing life and not death, blessings and not curses, often starts by choosing to remain silent or choosing carefully the words that open the way to healing." ("Bread for the Journey," Sept 5)
We must also be very careful that in our anger we do not label our children with ugly names such as fat, stupid, snake, pig, moron, 'kay-poh'(busy-body), useless, good for nothing. Such negative words can do harm to them for years to come! Henri Nouwen said, "When we say to someone, 'You are an ugly, useless, despicable person,' we might have ruined the possibility for a relationship with that person for life. Words can continue to do harm for many years." ("Bread for the Journey," Sept 5) Indeed, we do not want to spoil our relationship with our own precious children.
St Paul advises us not to speak harmful words but to use helpful words, "Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you."(Ephesians 4:29 TEV) Also, don't utter vulgar or obscene words, "Nor is it fitting for you to use language which is obscene, profane, or vulgar." (Ephesians 5:4 TEV) And no more immoral talks, jokes or gossips "Since you are God's people, it is not right that any matters of sexual immorality or indecency or greed should even be mentioned among you...You may be sure that no one who is immoral, indecent, or greedy (for greed is a form of idolatry) will ever receive a share in the Kingdom of Christ and of God."(Ephesians 5:3,5 TEV) St Paul warns us not to quarrel so we are to "Remind our people of this, and give them a solemn warning in God's presence not to fight with words. It does no good, but only ruins the people who listen...Keep away from profane and foolish discussions, which only drive people further away from God. Such teaching is like an open sore that eats away the flesh."(2 Timothy 2:14,16-17 TEV) He reiterates that we should "keep away from foolish and ignorant arguments; you know that they end up in quarrels. As the Lord's servant, you must not quarrel. You must be kind toward all, a good and patient teacher, who is gentle as you correct your opponents, for it may be that God will give them the opportunity to repent and come to know the truth. And then they will come to their senses and escape the trap of the Devil, who had caught them and made them obey his will."(2 Timothy 2:22-26 TEV)
It is vitally important that we exercise our choice to speak helpful words wherever we are, particularly at home. As Henri Nouwen said, "Words can bring consolation, comfort, encouragement, and hope. Words can take away fear, isolation, shame, and guilt. Words can reconcile, unite, forgive, and heal. Words can bring peace and joy, inner freedom and deep gratitude. Words, in short, can carry love on their wings. A word of love can be one of the greatest acts of love." ("Bread for the Journey," June 22) When we choose to speak words of care, words of encouragement, words of praise, words of love, words of admiration, positive words---they uplift and give meaning to our lives. Everyday we need to give and receive words of encouragement, hope and joy. We then create an environment that is pleasant to be in and that gives us the confidence and courage to cope with our stressful life here and now. Henri Nouwen said, "When we say to our parents, children, or friends, 'I love you very much' or 'I care for you' or 'I think of you often' or 'You are my great gift,' we choose to give life.
It is not always easy to express our love directly in words. But whenever we do, we discover we have offered a blessing that will be long remembered. When a son can say to his father, 'Dad, I love you,' and when a mother can say to her daughter, 'Child, I love you,' a whole new blessed place can be opened up, a space where it is good to dwell. Indeed, words have the power to create life." ("Bread for the Journey," Sept 6)
Often, we want to hear words such as, "'I've been thinking of you today,' or 'I missed you,' or 'I wish you were here,' or 'I really love you.' It is not always easy to say these words, but such words can deepen our bonds with one another.
Telling someone 'I love you' in whatever way is always delivering good news. Nobody will respond by saying, 'Well, I know that already, you don't have to say it again!' Words of love and affirmation are like bread. We need them each day, over and over. They keep us alive inside." ("Bread for the Journey," Feb 12) "When we say, 'I love you,' and say it from the heart, we can give another person new life, new hope, new courage. When we say, 'I hate you,' we can destroy another person. Let's watch our words. ("Bread for the Journey," Feb 11)
At the same time, we must be careful that we are sincere in our words because if we say, 'I love you,' without meaning it, then such words do more harm than good. But if these same words are spoken from the heart, they create new life. They give joy. They bring happiness. We have to make sure that our words are rooted from our heart.
To dwell in peace and joy, we have to learn from Jesus. As Henri Nouwen said, "The words of Jesus can keep us erect and confident in the midst of the turmoil of the end-time. They can support us, encourage us, and give us life even when everything around us speaks of death. Jesus' words are food for eternal life. They do much more than give us ideas and inspiration. They lead us into the eternal life while we are still being clothed in mortal flesh.
When we keep close to the word of Jesus, reflecting on it, 'chewing' on it, eating it as food for the soul, we will enter even more deeply into the everlasting love of God." ("Bread for the Journey," Sept 20) So it is vitally essential for us to read the Bible, as, "Spiritual reading is food for our souls. As we slowly let the words of the Bible or a good spiritual book enter into our minds and descend into our hearts, we become different people. The Word gradually becomes flesh in us and transforms our whole being. Thus spiritual reading is a continuing incarnation of the divine Word within us. In and through Jesus, the Christ, God became flesh long ago. In and through our reading of God's Word and our reflection on it, God becomes flesh in us now and makes us into living Christs for today.
Let's keep reading God's Word with love and great reverence." ("Bread for the Journey," April 16)
Since love is proved by works and not words alone, "What we live is more important than what we say, because the right way of living always leads to the right way of speaking. When we forgive our neighbours from our hearts, our hearts will speak forgiving words. When we are grateful, we will speak grateful words, and when we are hopeful and joyful, we will speak hopeful and joyful words.
When our words come too soon and we are not yet living what we are saying, we easily give double messages. Giving double messages--one with our words and another with our actions--makes us hypocrites. May our lives give us the right words, and may our words lead us to the right lives." ("Bread for the Journey," June 20)
Should we, then, keep quiet and not speak at all if we cannot live by what we say? No, said Henri Nouwen, "Can we only speak when we are fully living what we are saying? If all our words had to cover all our actions, we would be doomed to permanent silence! Sometimes we are called to proclaim God's love even when we are not yet fully able to live it. Does that mean we are hypocrites? Only when our own words no longer call us to conversion. Nobody completely lives up to his or her own ideals and visions. But by proclaiming our ideals and visions with conviction and great humility, we may gradually grow into the truth we speak. As long as we know that our lives always speak louder that our words, we can trust that our words will remain humble. ("Bread for the Journey," June 21)
Finally, we need to remind ourselves that all of us have a responsibility to share and pass on our unique experiences in life to our children and others by telling our stories, if possible, in writing. Henri Nouwen said "One of the arguments we often use for not writing is this: 'I have nothing original to say. Whatever I might say someone else has already said it, and better than I will ever be able to.' This, however, is not a good argument for not writing. Each human being is unique and original, and nobody has lived what we have lived. Furthermore, what we have lived, we have lived not just for ourselves but for others as well. Writing can be a creative and invigorating way to make our lives available to ourselves and to others. We have to trust that our stories deserve to be told. We may discover that the better we tell our stories the better we will want to live them." ("Bread for the Journey," April 29) Writing also helps us to touch base and clarify our thoughts for us to live our life more fully. "Writing can help us to concentrate, to get in touch with the deepest stirrings of our hearts, to clarify our minds, to process confusing emotions, to reflect on our experiences, to give artistic expression to what we are living, and to store significant events in our memories. Writing can also be good for others who might read what we write.
Quite often a difficult, painful, or frustrating day can be 'redeemed' by writing about it. By writing we can claim what we have lived and thus integrate it more fully into our journeys. Then writing can become lifesaving for us and sometimes for others too."

hEy guys...haha.finally i'm here to update u on the wildest craziest and sexiest night i had two nights ago...wanted to come blog last night, but was seriously too tired to do so...ahhahaha

kayZ, two days ago.29th nov...it all started when my cousin and her cute friend reached my hse. It was bout 3 in the afternoon. (jolene and stacey) we pampered ourselves by applying nailpolish and choosing wad to wear to the night's party and all...in de end i settled with pink polish for toe nails, green polish for finger nails and a white bareback top and red hipster skirt....we also put on makeup.haha.the professional stacey helped us with our make up. She helped me darken my eye brows, put on dark blue eye shadow and blusher. It was fantastic manZzz....i loooked, so pretty and so not 17..juz perfect to help bluff my way into the party...haaahha..soon after, wanwen reached, followed by antho, jun and dom. We're all damn pretty and sexy lar....haha.can't stand it....

ok, ard 7, we all marched down to town. The whole big group of us, pretty girls walking along town was so eye catching, everyone whom we walked past stared at us. Bf, gf, mummies and daddies, even their child lar...hahaha..At the mrt station, a grouped of guys even whistled at us..hahaha..damn paiseh....i mean all the heavy make up and all were a lil too much to hang out at town on a sat night lar...but we're act going clubbing wad....juz had to have dinner at town first ma....

After dinner at long johns's in cini, we took bus 16 to zouk. hahaha..we're so scared coz we're still underage, scared we cldn;t get in. We were all carrying fake id....i was carrying my sis id lar....before we reached, we had already prepared ourselves, memorised the ic numbers, name and bday of our fake ids.....hahhhaah.ok..it was v v crowded outside the club. Everyone there were like us, in heavy makeup and smart casual wear, waiting for their friends perhaps. At the door, there were like 3 bouncers checking ids of those entering. then when it was my turn, i juz calmly gave "my" ic to him, din wear my specs, din smile as if it was a usual routine for me and i know it....ahaha..they nodded, returned my ic, checked my handbag, checked my tix and chopped on my hand and phew...i was safely inside....wowow....it was sucha great experience. we explored around.it was dark.and my white top turned luminous with all the special lights inside....the place was fairly big. had two dance halls i think and two bars. was two story high and the place was full of smokers....hate it manZzz.was like passive smoking the smoker's smoke...oh wadeva. i know juz one visit to zouk with all the alcohol and smoke there, i'm gonna die early...ahhahaah. MEt many ppl, janelle, wenting and their clique, merv, cliff, my OGls yumin and tammy and their clique..haha..juz no dingg....yumin they all kept staring at me..like trying to recognise to see if it was me and all..coz i was not wearing my glasses and in make up lar...they were like gossiping around and quite shock to see me there..who cares maNZz.......

The real party only began when the dance hall opened. We started dancing..Me, huiyi, dom jun, wen, jo, stace, antho, merv and bra fu. So cool....i luv dancing.....not that i dance super super well..but i just can dance....ahhahha..with the music palying non stop.i was like in a trance....juz shaked and move to the rythm....damn fun manZzz....the group of pretty us dancing attracted alot of attention. MAny guys danced near us, and wanted to make friends with us....oh...hahahah..after like bout an hour plus of dancing...we all v thirsty. The dance hall was packed manZz..packed with groups of girls, guys, couples and all.....

we stopped for awhile, went up to the wine bar to get some drinks...then dom's bro came and treated us to like pineapple vodka or wad lar....two Jugs...damn cool...it was v nice...or maybe we're just to thirsty so any drinks seemed nice...ahhaha...later on, in between our dances, i drank coke vodka, spritee vodka, sprite and lime vodka..drank quite alot...ahha.became a lil giddy....should have controlled maNZ..shit lar....hahaha...was dancing so vigourously, was too thirsty...just couldn't help it....

then the four of us, me, dom, huiyi and jo moved to [future], to dance. The place was quite cramp and full of guys, infact there were v few girls ard. We danced and swayed. though i cldn't see myself but i bet the dance was real sexy lar....that cld have explained why within a few mins, the four of us were surrounded by a whole big group of guys. I was pretty stunned, seriously the guys juz exclosed us..formin a circle around us and we're inside the circle.they were dancing and flirting with us.....lookign and admiring us.wad de....ok...the there were liek two guys behind me, call them the balck and white coz of ther outfit....kept touching me and dancing behind me according to my moves...wah.can;t stand it.then i swooped places with huiyi....then they followed and the black guy even asked me if he cld buy me a drink...shit manZ.of coz not lar...why wld i just accept ppl's offer anyhow, heehee, not like he was v good looking....and i cooly replied"no thanks"..ahahha.we cont to dance..were like the centre of attraction lar....
But i must admit that our dancing was rather sleazy, even danced dirty.

After like 4 hours of dancing, we're rather tired, it was like wad....bout 2am then..the four of us then quickly went back to the first dance hall to find the others. We cont to dance there.....even went up onto the platform to dance....then danced with merv and bra.me and bra made the perfect dance partners maNZz...ahhaha..we both could really read wad each other's next moves were lar....ahhaha..ahha..then this guy beside me came up to me and made friends.asked if he could dance with me.then i said ok..but said no touching....coz i hate all the touching from my previous experience earlier in the previous dance hall....ok.so we danced, he intro and said he was ivan from NUs or wadsoeva lar. then we danced. But he slowly put his hands on my waist and as i moved to turn my back to him he slowly touched from my waist to my hips...maNZz i can;t stand it but just cldn;t move away...then i kept staring at antho to ask him to help....hahaha..lucky got bra fu came to "protect" lar...hahahaha..came over and pulled me away from that ivan. o me and bra danced....hahahaha..then NUS guy had to move down..then came ivan's friend...forgot his name lar.,he also asked to dance with him so i agreed and told him the same thing--no touching...he laffed and said ok...then antho thought i was in "danger" again.so came over and pulled me to dance with him lar....hahaha..then sth v v stupid happened...as i was stepping up onto the next paltform.bra fu's finger poked my eye...ahhaha.damn pain lar....then i just closed my eyes for awhile to"recuperate".but still danced...couldn;t see anything then i fell off the platform....ahhaha..involuntarily grabbed sb's hands..ahha and pushed myself up..it was this guy's hand.quite good looking lar..haha.the my friends all laffed and asked if i was ok.i was damn damn d d d paiseh lar.just stopped and hid my face on brian's shoulders lar.shit lar....hahahaha

we danced...real nice..at de sound o the music...my body cldn't stop moving lar...hahaha..the only thing is that i can't stand guy's touches and the passive smoking....ahha.but all in all..liek wad dom say, it proves that we're not totally unattractive lar..haha.or the guys are juz too despo...hahaha....at ard 3, we decided to leave the place, walked over to a bridge..weather was damn cold lar.w'ere all freezing.then all of us sat there to rest our aching feet....ahaha..there were two new comers...brian tan and pang hao...ahhaha.we sat.brian entertained us....haha.then after that went to Ps kopitiam to have supper coz we're all hungry adn exhausted....we sat there.hear antho and merv crap..rested till bout 6.30 then took mrt back home..they all cmae to my house.we quickly bathed, got changed and slept.ite was then about 7.30. We only woke up at bout1, had lunch, toked, packed then they went homeee.....after jun went home at 5pm. I cont to sleep till 10 pm. Had "dinner" and slept at 12.30am. It was then 24hours after my clubbing ecperience...ahhaha...whoohoo.how time flies....i then slept all the way till 12 this afternoon....ahhahahah..had lunch, watched tv and gonna meet jun later to settle woo's Tee shirt....

i think we're v v v naughty lar....hahah.but seriosuly it was a totall;y new and v cool experience......had great fun..now after soo many days and wks of fun.i wanna setlle down..pack my room again..and start doing my work....i will and i can and i must!!!!!!!!!! Thank god for all your blessings.......
